If you are thinking of exploring Rogers, stop by the legend of a landmark, War Eagle Mill and Bridge. This is probably most well known by local photographers who point their cameras at this amazing scene. The mill hosts a restaurant, store, and every fall a memorable craft fair that brings thousands of visitors. You can also walk across the one-lane steel bridge next to the mill for another great fishing spot, wading in the creek, picture taking, or enjoying the sunset with loved ones. In Uptown Rogers you can find Topgolf and the Walmart AMP, the best neighbors in town. Located right next to each other, Topgolf is an interactive golf and entertainment space for all ages and skill levels. On the other side you have the Walmart Amp, a live music venue and is the largest outdoor amphitheater in the state. They have hosted all sorts of acts from every genre of music including Janet Jackson, comedian Trever Noah, Brad Paisley, and Florida Georgia Line to name a few.
Rogers has great spots for food, especially if you are looking for any Tex-Mex or Hispanic food. Rogers embraces its large Latinx community and heritage. That isn't to say there aren't a million options for all types of food. For fine dining, check out the 1907, specifically Heirloom, where reservations are consistently sold out. It isn't just fine dining there though there are several restaurants in the eclectic space. Plus check out the link below for a list of the best places for a foodie to go.
Let's start with just a few of the outdoor options Rogers has to offer and believe me, there is no shortage. Lake Atalanta is a beautiful lake just outside of downtown Rogers that encompasses over 30 acres of water. Visitors can use one of the 6 fishing piers, paddleboard, kayak, and much more around the lake. The area also features over 4 miles of paved trails and 10 miles of hiking/biking natural trails. There is also play equipment and pavilions for you to relax, bring the kids, and have a picnic. One of the trails from Lake Atalanta will lead you to Railyard Bike Park. This is a natural surface bike park that utilizes various elements to test your skills. They also host an area for the little ones so don't be surprised to see toddlers on Striders in the mix!
Not to be outdone in an area that is best known for the astounding amount of trails are some of our lakes and water activities. The Rogers Aquatic Center features 5 water slides, lazy river, diving boards and a great kids splash pad. If you are looking at a boating excursion or wanting a more natural swimming area check out Beaver Lake. This is an over 28,000+ acre man-made lake that attracts thousands each year.
